restrict door opening

Is there a way to restrict/reduce how far the passenger door will open on my 05 MCS? If I could only reduce the amount it opened by just a bit, it would keep it from wacking the other car in my garage.

Don't open it as much? :confused: I don't know of anything else. My parents have the same problem with the cars in their garage. My dad's jeep passenger side door hits my mom's car and the black plastic trim has a bunch of dents in it. My mom likes to open it all the way and then it hits, but if you don't open it all the way there are no problems. It's just harder to get out then. Either that or maybe try to park them farther apart. The MINI's doors do open very wide, but there are a couple of spots that it "locks" into on the way to fully open. Maybe someone else knows of a door adjustment, but the only way I can see of doing that is changing the hinge mechanism for the doors. How about putting some vertical doors on it? :dancing Hmm...I wonder if vertical doors would work with the MINI windows when you close the door. That would be an interesting mod to see.
