I found this on the STMC website and thought I'd share it here for those that might be interested. Anyone ever heard of or know what the MINI Owners of Texas car club is?

"Hello fellow British Car Club:

It’s that time of the year again for the annual Fall South Texas All British
Car Day (AMGA) to be held in Boerne, TX which is located in the scenic Texas
Hill Country. The show this year which is hosted by the Alamo MG
Association is scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2005 and will be held on
the Boerne Main Plaza. The fee is $15 which will include 1st, 2nd and 3rd
place trophies (subject to participation) along with a complementary dash
plaque. Show T-Shirts, which were designed by local artist Mark Rue, will
be available at the registration table for $12 or $14 for XL. Mark will be
on hand to sign T-Shirts for those who desire it.

The show this year is scheduled to run from 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Registration
start at 9:00am with the voting from 10:00 to 12:30. Awards will follow at
1:30PM.

Following the conclusion of the Car Show and starting at approximately
2:30PM, the MINI Owners of Texas Car Club will sponsor the Search For the
Fall Colors Drive 2005 road trip. This run will cover about 80 miles and
will take about 2 1/2 hours and will be followed by refreshments and supper
at one of the local restaurants.

Please put this show on your club's event schedule and pass it on to your
members so they can plan on attending. The Alamo MG Association has been
working very closely with all the local British Car clubs in setting up this
show in the hopes of putting on the best show possible. If anybody has any
last minute requests, please let me know and I will do whatever I can to
accommodate you.

With this e-mail I am including a copy of the show class schedule, after
show rally and registration form. You can also go to our club’s WEB site at
<http://www.alamomg.org/> where you can see additional information and
download a copy of the registration form.

Please feel free to e-mail me or call me if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Bryan Prindle

I believe it is an older club devoted to the original Mini.

Well, I received an e-mail from them on that deal, I advised the guy to post some information on our website, apperently did not attract him at all, unless the mail did not go through. Anyways, I think I am out on that, I have things to do.
