Was there a Starbucks meet on October 1st? I noticed it on the calendar but nothing was mentioned here. I couldn't have made it anyways, but was just wondering if anything had happened. :confused:

I'll try to be there...dirty car and all. I could probably take the dirtiest MINI award! :p Anyone have experience removing the hood scoop? I have the new white one painted, but just have to switch them out now. :thumbsup

Well, this Friday, if my schedule lets me, I'll have the bodyshop install my Aero Kit, if you can't get it done by then, let me know, I can have those guys install your scoop. BTW, white scoop? Interesting, hop comes out well, your car will be unique though...

I'll try to be there...dirty car and all. I could probably take the dirtiest MINI award! :p Anyone have experience removing the hood scoop? I have the new white one painted, but just have to switch them out now. :thumbsup

I don't know if I'll have it done by Friday. I just need to take a look at it and see if I can figure out how it comes apart. The new one came with 4 fasteners and it looks like it pops into place, so once the fasteners are removed from the old one it should just pop out. Hopefully it won't be too hard. I've just been too busy and tired lately to attempt it. It will be unique until the 2006 models come out with silver scoops and roofs...I guess it still might be unique because it is white. I'll probably bring it along with me to Starbucks tomorrow.

Where'd you end up getting the aero kit from and did you get it painted already? I can't wait to see how it turns out. Oh...I got that chrome cupholder ring finally! :eek2

Well, I will give you all the details when I see ya tomorrow, the kit is at a local body shop.
