I bought a couple of sets of jack stands today figuring I might need them to rotate the tires, but it turns out I didn't really need them at all. I jacked up the car from the front tire jack point until both tires were off the ground. Then slid the jack stands underneath for security. After that you can take off both tires on that side and swap them. Turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be. :thumbsup

Although the front to back swap is not an inappropriate method it is better suited to directional tires that can only be rotated using this approach. For a non-directional tire like the stock run-flats, crossing the rears to the opposite front location and moving the fronts to the same side rear will provide for more even wear.

I know you mentioned that to me before, but it worries me too much having all 4 tires in the air and off the hub. I would of had to jack up one side and put the jack stands under it (I couldn't see an appropriate spot in the rear) and then jack up the other side to put stands under it. Now if I had two jacks I could swap front to rear first like I did, then use both jacks to lift the front and swap those. :thumbsup Maybe next time I'll try that.

As a side note: I noticed my runflats are all season and probably not as sticky as the performance ones. You get a nice view of the suspension with the wheels off too.

Might not be as satisfying as doing it yourself, but the Discount Tire Company shops here in DFW do a tire rotation for free. I was in and out in about 20 minutes last time I went in at a non-busy time.
