View Full Version : Can't lock/unlock door ... again!

For the second time this year, I cannot unlock/lock a door on Azuul. For some reason, this time its mainly the passenger door, but sometimes it won't open all doors. I can't get a pattern to it. Well, looks like its back to the MINI Center.

Does it only have problems when you use the buttons on the key fob? Can you lock and unlock doors by putting the actual key in or from the toggle switch inside? Sounds like you have some gremlins in Azuul like I have in my MINI. Azuul won't be alone at the MINI Center. :rolleyes:

Your control module is probably crapping out again then. That didn't last too long. :confused:

Alright, this is really getting weird. Starting 10/21 the passenger door would not lock or unlock using the remote key or the toggle switch. Well, last night IT STARTED WORKING AGAIN!! I had made an appointment to go to the MINI Center for Monday. So, should I (1) go anyway and have them check it out, (2) not go, but call them and cancel the appointment or (3) not go and don't call to cancel (i.e. to see if they even know I had an appt).

This happened to me yesterday. I went to unlock the doors and they wouldnt unlock. I had to click the lock button twice then the unlock once to get it to unlock.

I would do number 3. Bill hasn't been in much this week and the service department is in a bit of chaos right now. If we were gambling I would bet they wouldn't even get to your car on Monday right now. I brought mine in two Wednesdays ago and had an appointment for Tuesday of this week, but they didn't even start anything until yesterday. :(
