It's posted on motoringfile all the time. I've heard of it but never actually listened to one.

I listened to a couple episodes this evening, but found myself completely bored and falling asleep. I prefer reading motoringfile or browsing NAM for that kind of info. Talk radio is not my cup of tea I guess.

:eek2 Your doing springs?! I thought you weren't for springs. I've read those M7 springs are very soft and the drop is one of the lowest out there. That M7 splitter interested me, but it's only laminated fiberglass. It's mostly for looks and not too functional in my opinion, so I crossed that off the list.
I'm hoping to have a sway bar by Christmas...I might be crazy but I'm leaning towards the Hsport comp bar on the softest setting. Either that or their sport bar on the stiffest setting. The thing really holding me back is deciding how to have it installed. I e-mailed Terry Sayther about installation costs and never got a response, so I might try to get someone at work help me do it. Once I have that on and put some non-runflats then I'll see if I want to do anything else to the suspension.

Heh heh heee,
I knew you were going to write this (remember the days I was beating you on the springs, but it is all about the cosmetics, I still think the MCS suspension rocks)
I am really not big on the springs, but I did the math, going for the coilovers is too expensive and I really am into cosmetics for now. Having the stock springs is going to wear the stock suspension within the next 12-15K, which will allow me financially to replace them with PSS9s from Bielstein. BTW, H-sport has a kit, springs, front and rear sway bars for $500.00-$540.00. That would be something to consider.
I was thinking of M7 springs, but today I visited the guys at Prestige off 1604 and Tradesman, and had a chit-chat with them, and we decided to go with the H-sports, it is cheaper than Eibachs (0.6" front and 0.6 rear drop on Eibachs), and you get 1" drop front and rear. They cut me a good deal, will handle business next week. BTW, Scott and Mark are real nice folks, they want more Mini business. They had an Audi RS4 in there which the owner dropped close to $20,000.00 in mods. There were also bunch of TTs and M3s for service and performance mods. The guys really know what they are doing and the mechanic, Mark, is a cool guy.
I told them about us briefly, Scott (he runs the front) was very excited. I think we have a very nice place to mod and service our vehicles (such as basic oil change).
Anyways, as far as the front splitter is concerned, I have to review that, because it is going to be a bitch to install it on Aero Kit, I will have to call M7 tuning and talk to them. Nowadays, I am into blings, cool factor. Performance mods are to come next summer. We'll see.
Keep the cool Weezer, keep the cool :p

hehehe Where is Tradesman located in relation to major highways? Like near 281, 35, 10? I'll have to check them out. I'm aware of the kit, but all I want right now is the rear bar. I like the Hsport springs, but not sure if I really want or need them yet. I wonder if they can be trusted to do a pulley install... :thumbsup

Tradesman rd is located on 1604 between Lockhill Selma and I10, it is very easy, we'll go there one of these days. I asked them about the pulley, they said, they did 3-4 times, and I think Jason from LSMC did his pulley there, he does not have any problems so far, and it was their first. If they can mod an Audi RS4 to the max, they can install a pulley without problems. I think you and I should do the pulley the same day, would be nice, a good learning experience.
