Hey guys what do you guys think of a garage day later next month or on a nice cool(er) day.

I have a pretty long Driveway (prolly 4-5 MINI deep) and I normally use Zaino, ofcourse you could bring your own. Afterwards we can take a dip in the pool or go on a evening cruise. Lately though its been so hot :mad:

:cool: Sat or Sun ok if its on my week-end off. I read a lot about using a claybar, has anyone tried this?

I use a claybar every other wax...about once a year. I have been VERY impressed with the results!

I'll have to see about joining up for a detail day...my car might be a mess again by the time I get back to Austin!!! :p

Ok, so Sunday it is and on a weekend off for Dave. I got the entire kit from Zaino which comes with a clay bar. Like Richie I use it about once a year unless I get some tar and grim which the claybar is great for. I have different Zaino's one especially for dark cars aka Black. I got the shop vac and interior goodies too :)

If I am in town, then I would definitely attend a detailing day. I can even bring both MINIs!

Well since its getting towards the end of the month and the rain wont seem to stop LOL... Listen to me, a week or so ago I would have paid for rain. :) I'm thinking mid August? Like I said I have plenty of space and Zaino to go around. We can wash them all up and then detail them in and out.

My mini may need a washing by then if I get it back soon. I bought Nu-Finish before it went in for service to try it, but haven't had the chance yet. I was going to get the Mr. Clean Spray nozzle system the day it crapped out on me. I hear the Mr. Clean system works great and lots of people seem to swear by Zaino. August will be pretty darn hot though, unless it's late in the evening.

White wheels get dirty after one drive, so they always need some detailing!
