Go to the WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN site:
MINI2 has a ton of useful info:
http://www.mini2.com/ (http://www.mini2.com/)
Once you have a build date:
Wallenius Wihelmsen Carriers to get the vessel name
http://www.2wglobal.com/www/customerCentre/cargoTrackingLaunchPage.htm (http://www.2wglobal.com/www/customerCentre/cargoTrackingLaunchPage.htm)
http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/countryList.do (http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/countryList.do)
1. Select "Customer Care > Cargo Tracking"
2. Select "Auto cargo" from the "Track By" list
3. Enter your VIN# as the Cargo ID
4. If your MINI has been booked it will return a detailed page listing the Vessel, Booking#, Voyage#, etc.
Clicking on the Voyage# will give you additional details on the ship's itinerary.
Another thing you can do is to copy the Booking#, then select "Booking Number" from the "Track By" list. Paste in your Booking#, click "Track" and you'll go to a details page which will give you your MINI's current status at the dock. (i.e. scanned at terminal, loaded on vessel, etc.) Note that if your VIN# has an "*" after it then you have been waitlisted on that particular ship and may not actually get loaded. My MINI was rebooked three times on different ships before being loaded. (Thanks to ch4)
If your VIN doesn't show up on WW it's probably on K-Line. Call your MA and get the Bill of Lading then call K-Line at 800-609-3221 and choose the auto cargo option. Give them your BoL and they'll tell you if it's on one of their ships. (Thanks to Appalachian MINI)
