Anyone interested in going on a run on Dec. 11th? I'm not sure where to or what time yet, but hoping we can work that out here. :thumbsup

Sorry, December is our busy month for our madrigal singing group, the Merrie Court Singers -- look here to see and hear us AND our schedule (http://www.merriecourtsingers.com). By the way come see us at Borders and buy our CD. Check the schedule at the link.

I am hoping to redux the "Pie Run" in January 2006, maybe the third weekend in January.

Sounds good to me. I've missed meeting you guys at Shiner and Lost Maples. Been wanting to check out some of your routes.

So I was thinking maybe we'll go for a run in the batcave area in Fredericksburg. Then we could stop for lunch in Fredericksburg between runs. There are tons of twisties up there. :D :thumbsup

I'm not sure if the bats are still around though. :confused:The bats are in Mexico for the winter. They are up here for the "cooler" weather in the summer (i.e. cooler than Mexico).

I thought so. Bats or no bats, it's still worth the drive. :)

Hey guys. Sorry I couldn't make it this morning. I tried to post earlier but the server was down. Let me know how everything went.

We didn't have it. Will was on call and got called up so he couldn't make it and Berk overslept. :p So I ended up going on a quickie run out by Medina lake without a radar detector. :eek2 Just about topped her out on the high speed stretch and had a ball in the twisties. If I pushed really hard the rear would just barely start to slide a bit, but the front stuck like glue. :D The foliage is changing colors out there too so I stopped to take a couple pictures. :thumbsup

Man, I'm sorry I missed it. I like to top it out on the straightaways too but you would have left me in the twistees. The only mod I have is the Euro parcel shelf:rolleyes: . I'm pretty happy running stock right now. It gets me through traffic just fine:thumbsup , and for the moment, that's my main objective. I promise I'll make a run sometime with you guys. If your ever in the Broadway/Austin Highway area look for me. I've got a GIS sticker on the back and will probably be at that Starbucks or Central Market. (I spotted Azuul there today. I was on the run so I couldn't go back in and look for you Steve:o .)

I think I saw your MINI at Central Market last week. I drive Broadway/Austin Hwy to and from work every weekday. I almost always see a yellow/black MINI on Austin Hwy. I'm pretty easy to spot...just look for the union jack flag on the antenna of a red and white MINI. There's a Starbucks on Austin Hwy?

I hadn't done any significant mods until this weekend. The sway bar really does make a significant change to how the car handles and rides. All you would notice in city/traffic driving is a stiffer ride in the rear, but in the twisties the front end no longer pushes. :thumbsup

No, on Broadway just south of Austin Highway.
