Anyone up for a fun run through the Hill country followed by brunch. Its been awhile since we've done one of these and now with the holidays done (thank God) maybe we all have some more free time to get out and motor. I can't remember the last time we had such a long run of good weather around these parts.

I'm thinking we could meet at our usual spot 1604 and Bandera at the Whataburger around 9:30-9:45. We usually wrap up around 1130ish depending on how many runs we do.

I'm up north of Kerrville on a church project on some land out there. Maybe next one

Yeah... I'll be there although a bit sad.... Dr. Evil was violated today... Someone keyed him :(

On the other hand, I got a chance to met with Jason and he and I swapped out parts so atleast I have that to smile about :o

Monday I will call the body shop to see what they can do about this.. Just upsets me that people out there that do unthoughtful things like this.

Dumb people. I have a big paint chip on the passenger side of the hood from when something flew up and hit me then bounced over the roof. That was interesting. Today someone ran over a light assembly or something and it exploded all over the highway. I ended up running over some of that. I don't know why people resort to damaging others cars...doesn't make sense to me.

...and Will's keyed side. :( Hopefully I'll get mine fixed tomorrow as long as it doesn't rain. :thumbsup

I had a lot of fun too. Next time I think I will put the sway bar on the softest setting or drive a little slower though. I definetly scared myself a few times. :eek2 Some stickies and more rear negative camber would help.

I can beat that

Was running late to the airport in Austin and doing a *little* above the speed limit. A pickup truck pulls out of the way only to expose a friggen brake rotor or hub or some giant thing right in front of me. Before I could even twitch the wheel it impacted my aero kit and started dragging underneath the car. It fell away before I pulled over. but I have a perfect profile of it where it punched through the underside of the kit :flame

Sorry to hear about that. Someone keyed my car while I was in Corpus Christi a couple weeks back. Cost $500 to fix. F'in savages! :flame

Quilantan's on Grissom is worth checking out too. I had my hood scoop painted there.

I went to a local dealership here in McAllen. Burns motors. They did a great job but it's probably no better than anything available in San Antonio. On a happier note.....Italian Job is on FX right now.

Carey at Volmer is cool, easy to work with, also Loredo is good too, but kinda expensive.

definately going with Vollmer, they were much friendlier on the phone. Laredo didnt seem like they needed my business all that much on the phone....
