I know...I know...I rarely post and now here I am posting 3 times in one day. Not only do we have a new MINI Service Advisor, but as of Jan. 2ND we have a new General Manager. His name is Tony Pandjiris, and he is very interested in MINI. In fact he is a huge part of why we have Daniel as our MINI Service Advisor. Tony comes to us from Florida, and has many years in the car business. He has never worked with a MINI Dealership, but he finds them very interesting. In fact he took a Demo MINI Cooper S home for the weekend, just so he could get a feel for MINI. Tony has a background in making Service Centers work properly. I feel very confident that between the new building, and our new GM Tony. The problems that we ALL have been experiencing in the Service Department are quickly going to be behind us. I guess in closing I will say this. Get ready MINI Clients, we are about to have a GREAT Service Department! :thumbsup
Thanks,
Faron

Fortunately, my '06 MCS and I have not had the need to use the MINI Center service department, so hopefully our first experience there will be awesome and without any baggage from whatever was wrong with the old.

I'm a "displaced Texan" over here in Bahrain. We have a racing team and are campaigning two Minis in the JCW Challenge at the Bahrain International Circuit. Anyway, the Technical Regulations allow for the JCW rear wing, but JCW doesn't have them in stock. Do you have any idea who might have them in the States? I can handle the shipping from this end easily.

Much appreciated!

If you're talking about the new carbon fiber wing, Morristownmini has them in stock. Mike is also selling them on eBay.

I had some things checked out on my 06 MCS and it went very well and very quickly. I'm pleased so far!

No, I'm referring to the JCW wing used in Europe for the racing series...the supplier to JCW is apparently from this area of the world, meaning that the supply has dried up and no one can get them. The wing is supposed to be adjustable, it has vertical endplates, and is made of aluminum. Perversely, our rules have this item as mandatory, and the promoter (the BMW dealer) doesn't stock them at all!

I'm looking everywhere I can think of and cannot find them!

There are a couple dealers in the US that have the JCW wing, but apparently there is a very limited supply so very few dealers have them. This is the one I know of: http://motoringfile.com/2006/01/22/jcw-spoiler-info-install-pdf-special-pricing/
It doesn't sound like it's the same one that's used in the Challenge series though.
