My MINI is so Fast...

The clock always gets ahead somehow.. Never fails, after a few weeks its almost 30 mins ahead..

Anyone else's MINI this fast :)

I read about that on NAM. Apparently it is because the clock is controlled by the computer on '05+ models. Some have slow clocks, some fast, and some just right. I really don't pay attention to the clock, but I don't think mine is off that much. I wonder if the pre-'05 overhead clock could be retrofitted somehow. It's much nicer than the airbag warning light overhead. :cool:

My clock will gain 20-25 mins everytime I set it. I told my SA the last time I was at Moritz and he said they might have to replace the computer to get things right. There was someone coming in to have that done a few days after I left but I haven't heard from him yet. The SA didnot know if replacing the computer would correct the problem as alot of owners have this problem.

my clock is on time, however, my mini is so fast, i even go back in time :D

My 02 gradually creeps ahead. I usually notice a gain of about 1-2 minutes a month. Wierd.
