OK, I'm in Austin for a few days while I'm at a conference. Where should I eat, what should I do.

Yeah, I know 6th street. I'll eat at Threadgills once while I am here, maybe hit Chuy's for some Mexican. Anything else?

The pizza place...I can't remember the name of it now. It's at the Y in Austin where 290 intersects 71? I think. One of the Bush twins was caught drinking there once. :eek2

Stubbs is real good for bbq, and sometimes you can catch a really good concert in the backyard...but if you want some seriously good bbq you'd have to take a little road trip to Salt Lick. I don't remember exactly where it is, but it's close to austin. The red brick oven (or a variation of that name) right downtown is really good for pizza and italian. If you're up for splurging and want sushi Kenichi is good too...it's near the warehouse district downtown (like around 4th and congress).

Bone Daddy's!!! Yeah its better than the one in Dallas!! The food is great. I suggest the steak sandwich.

OH and cat forget Rudy's BBQ. Definately a must.

Thanks Chaps! It was Chuy's on night #1, Z-Tejas (the original site) on night #2, and Threadgills for lunch before I left for home today.

I've decided two things:

1. I miss coming to Austin as much as I used to. Such a better atmosphere than Dallas. I decompress just walking down the street.

2. You guys need some stickers for your cars. I saw several MINI's, but had no idea if it was one of you or not.

Awesome!! Yeah I love SA much better than Dallas. I am glad I moved down here. Life seems to move slower, not the fast hectic world Dallas is.

We have Tshirts and Caps, yet to work out the stickers part. I guess I need to order more shirts, I know I had some folks that needed some XL's, also I havent found a good place to do the stickers for us yet.
