I would like to thank scuderiamini for recommending Faron at the MINI Center. Faron is a great guy. Very helpful. I ordered my DS/B MINI from them a few weeks ago. My wife and I will be flying in from VA on June 14th to pick it up. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone in the San Antonio area could recommend a clear bra installer. I woud like to get this done before we head back.

Since we have never vistited SA, if anyone could recommend any fun things to do, that would be great. We are staying near the Alamo and Riverwalk at the Menger Hotel (hopefully it isn't a dump).

Thanks
Justin

JustinNope, the Menger is a very classy and classical hotel. You will enjoy it. Some ideas:
1. If you like theme parks, Fiesta Texas is fun.
2. We have a Seaworld, so, again, that will be fun.
3. If you are into history, after you visit the tourist trappy Alamo, head on south of town to the other Missions. They have been mostly kept in the style of what the Alamo would have looked like back in the day.
4. If you want to test out your MINI on some twistees, head north on Bandera road to Bandera. Stop there in town to soak up the cowboy atmosphere and eat some BBQ for lunch. Then continue out north from Bandera to 337 in the hill country. Take 337 west for a great twistee ride.
5. In June, the bats should be back up here from Mexico, head out to the bat cave off off route 9 at sunset and watch the 3 million + bats leave the cave. (its also a great twistee drive to the cave).

Have fun here in SA.

Justin,
Thank you for the kind words, I will do everything I can to make your MINI purchase a pleasant experience. As for things to do in San Antonio...we are talking endless. San Antonio & the surrounding area is great! Perhaps we will try to get a really cool MINI run while you are in town. What do you think guys??? Ohh read my new post by the way!
You asked about Invisadhield. It is a GREAT product, and I wish I had it on my MINI from the beginning. I will send you a photo of it in the morning. Although it shows that we sell it at the Dealership, we do not. Something to do with the insurance or something, I never really asked why. I do have a guy that can do it for you while you are here. His name is Dale Barkalow and his number is (210)488-8687. His website is www.scratchman.com Give him a call & tell him that I gave you his name & number, that way you will get the lower price. If you have any questions, you know my number & email. You are welcome to use it any time you want! The waiting for your MINI, believe it or not. Is a big part of the fun of owning a MINI.
