Would anyone be interested in going out to the drag strip in Marion as a club? I've never been, but I know the StrictlyEA club goes out there occasionaly just for fun.

Are we going to do this as a group or what? If I say that I am going, abunch of people will be there from work. Lots of people want to see how a JCW MINI does at the track! I have no idea, and if I loose to bad NOS!!!!!!

yeah, sometimes a $1,200.00 Civic can send you back to school. You never know what is in those Japanese cars

I read that. They have some interesting kits coming out. You know they blew the motor on the drag car? ;) :D

Well, yea  .......Look at how had they push that motor. :thumbsup When you are building a all out drag car its only a matter of time until you blow up the motor. You come to expect it! Hell when you have the kind a sponsorship money he has, I am sure that you even come to look forward to it. That way you have another chance to do the same thing, if only to prove you can!
Is that what you meant, or were you giving me crap about wanting him to dig in under my bonnet!
(Don't get me wrong, I know a good ribbing is in good clean fun!( I am a member of Dune Buggy Forum and they are a little touchy feely. I understand that you are playing around, and so was I.)
OK its off to the VW Texas Classic for my 6 year old and I!!! Hopefully I can find some cool stuff in the swap Meet for my Buggy! See ya!

I know, it would be fun to push the motor and not have to worry about blowing it. I didn't mean anything by it really...I just think it is neat that there is someone out there blowing up MINI motors. They have a new one they swapped out the supercharger for a turbo and got 300whp with all stock internals. I'm not sure how long that one will last. :thumbsup
