Official Bat Cave Run Thread - Sunday June 4

Okie, dokie, so here is the official word. Bat emergence times are running from 7:45pm to 8:30pm. To make sure we are there by 7:15pm with a 2 hour or so run, we need to leave at 5:15pm, which is an hour earlier that previously posted (to see the old thread, go here (http://www.lonestarminiclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=265&page=1&pp=10)).

FINAL BAT CAVE RUN DETAILS
When: Sunday June 4
Where: Meet at the Exxon station at Bandera Rd. and 1604
Start time: Meet at 5pm, first car out at 5:15pm

I have some maps for our route to hand out before we leave.

1. Kathy and I will be at Pei Wei on Bandera Rd just inside 1604 for dinner at 4:15pm. Feel free to join us. Remember, for the run we meet at the Exxon at Bandera and 1604 at 5:00pm, first car out from the Exxon at 5:15pm.

2. At the Bat Tunnel there are 2 viewing areas. The lower viewing area closer to the bats costs $5 per person to get in; also this is where the ranger does his/her talk.

3. Finally, every remember to bring your walkie-talkies for the run.

Thanks everyone for a great run to the Bat Cave. 10 MINIs and 1 GTI. Sorry about the change in time of the bats coming out of the tunnel.
