Drag Racing

I drag raced my MINI for the first time tonight at the track in Marion. Best time was 15.8 I believe. Heat soak and driver inexperience were my biggest problems. Was a good time though. :D

it was fun, Greg had to wait for me almost 2 hours, we had couple of runs together, trying to figure out how to get a good start, kept stalling the GTI for a second each run pissed us of. As a matter of fact he passed me one time, I was impressed. i kept losing time at launch due to no launch control on DSG yet, but scored 15.18 best. If i can launch it should be mid 14s prolly, oh well, our cars are not geared up for drag races anyways. Overall good experience.
