So, Kathy and I were brainstorming about another themed run, and she thought of a grape stomping run!!! Cool. We know of one place where they allow grape stomping, we think -- Becker Vineyards. The good thing is that Becker Vineyards is 11 miles east of Fredricksburg, so we could use a modified bat cave route, then stomp some grapes, and then drink some wine.
Becker does their grape stomping on Aug 26 & 27 and Sep 2 & 3. The HCR is on Sep 2 & 3, so if we wanted to do the stomping, we'd need to do it the weekend before the HCR. Or ... we could make our own HCR event.
