TWS October 21-22

The Drivers Edge is hosting a track event on TWS October 21-22. For information check out their website for more information. http://www.thedriversedge.net/

Hopefully some of you AMTD veterans will return for a big high speed reunion ;-)

This is a great event to learn how to and what to expect when driving at speed and actually turning at the same time. You'd be suprised how much of this will translate into making your hill country drives a bit safer. Ok ok mayby not, as I have seen how some of you drive ;-)

There are a few MINI's already going so more the better!

how close can over cars get to you? I've been hesitant to do this for fear of someone smashing into me.

from what ive read before... cars cant pass unless motioned to do so and only on straights. Im sure they can get on your tail but i wouldnt worry about that too much ;]

I would not be too concerned. If you have not done this before, all the cars you are with will have an instructor, so I wolud not worry about somone getting too close. If you are running slow then there are passing zones where you wave the people behind you by.
