Putting filters on the valve cover and plugging the bung on the intake tube will not gain anything power wise. Venting the crankcase to the atmosphere will release potentially harmful emissions into our preciously limited resource.

hmm, what about on the intake? can you stick on on there as well? Theres really no point now that we figured out my idea wont work anywho..

The bung on the intake hose/pipe in your case is to channel crank case emissions into the intake in order to combust any extraneous gasses. Putting a filter there would be redundant since there is a filter serving the intake. The set–up you have will still work with some adjustments on your part, so don’t give up just yet. A hack saw will do the job in lieu of a proper pipe cutter.

true, I think thats what I will do. I just hope I dont waste money from messing it up haha. I guess if all else fails I could use the stock hose with the K&N filter
