You are welcomed to post here! I am always interested in events like these but need just a little more advanced notice - especially the weekend before Thanksgiving!!
Just bad timing Fast1. But please continue to post events like this... Lots of us are interested (including me) but most just cant make it with Thanksgiving around the corner. Lots of folks heading outta town this Friday and wont be back till after Thanksgiving.

Yahoo, I’m off. I would like to join the ride and have a special request. I live off 16 towards Bandera and would like to pull in behind the group at the HWY 46 intersection if you are coming out this direction instead of meeting in SA. I could meet at PR37 & 16 if the ride is going that way; just trying to cut corners instead of back tracking.

No problem as long as your not 5-0 pulling us over.lol. Shortly after 930 just look for a large bunch of cars(15-18) heading up the road and join in.

Thank you for the invitation fast1 :thumbsup, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
fast1 is an appropriate name for Harold; the pace was quite swift. An Austin club of Honda S2Ks was co-sponsor of this ride I guess, because they were well represented. I thought I had pulled into the wrong group when we had our first catch-up stop. I wouldn’t have joined them at all if they hadn’t missed the PR37 turn.
A small group of us went on the 337 high country route and at the lookout afterwards fast1 commented the MINI should have been the pace setter in the tight stuff. I had to sheepishly admit the MINI is capable but the driver’s awareness of his mortality allowed caution to override aggression.

I wish I could have gone. And yes, those Mini's are sick. I remember one time we went on a co cruise with this Mini club and we thought our cruises were pretty killer and that it wouldn't be so bad with a bunch of Mini's....right? Ha! Those Mini's wiped the floor with most of us. It was great fun though. Anyways, I digress. Next cruise I am definitely going to hit up.

I am glad you enjoyed the cruise. I actually was posting over to the Honda forums to invite them because a while back they went on one with me. Turns out they were having one of their own the same day, time, and place so we joined up with them. We have another one coming up soon probably some roads alot of guys haven't been on. Hope to see you there.
