I would recommend having the pulley installed at Prestige Tuning. http://www.prestige-tuning.com/ They have the tool to remove it and have done my MINI plus a number of other friends MINIs. I do not know of anyone that has the pulley removal tool in San Antonio.

There's a good group of people that will be meeting somewhere tomorrow night. We usually meet at the Starbucks at Huebner Oaks, 7PM on Sunday. I'm not sure yet where it'll be tomorrow though. There's usually 2-3 of us with MINIs. Check www.eurosportunderground.com if you want to come out and meet some of us. I'd strongly recommend having the pulley installed professionally at Prestige, but I'm sure someone can help out with the short shifter. :thumbsup

And after the MINI meeting come on out to Fralos Pizza (http://www.fralos.com) to hear our band, The Tim and Bob Show (http://www.myspace.com/thetimandbobshow) from 7pm to 9:30pm. Or not. Wish I could make the MINI gathering, but not tonight.

Steve, there is a group of us that get together just about every Sunday night. There's VW's, BMW's, MB's, Porsches, MINI's etc. Usually 2-3 MINI's are there. Tonight we are meeting at Huebner Oaks Starbucks around 7PM if anyone would like to come out. :thumbsup

the shorter the shift the better it feels, but harder to put it in gear at the same time. Keith bought an extension for his. Which might balance things out.
