Weekly GTG's

Fellow MINI Owners,

There is a group of us that get together just about every Sunday night for some car talk, general chatting, and drooling over other cars. :D There's VW's, BMW's, MB's, Porsches, MINI's etc. Usually 2-3 MINI's are there. Tonight we are meeting at Huebner Oaks Starbucks around 7PM if anyone would like to come out and meet some MINI owners. We used to do a similar event a while back with just MINI's, but haven't in a while. :thumbsup

Yes, we will be meeting. Not sure if it will be at the Starbucks or someplace else just yet. I'll post up when I know more. :thumbsup

Tonight we will be meeting at 5:30PM at Papoulis at I10 and Huebner for some Greek food. It is just north of I10 in the same shopping center as Freebirds! Burritos and Fatburger, so there are other options if you don't like Greek. Afterwards we will be meeting at Starbucks at 7PM in the Huebner Oaks shopping center.

Gah! Just got home from some shopping. I checked before we left around 140 today didnt see anything so I thought it was cancelled. I should have just called you Greg. BTW I got a PS3!! Man this thing is amazing!! The grapics are crazy and I dont even have the HD cable yet. Gotta order that online nobody seems to have one. Anyone else get one of these or a Nintendo Wii??

Sorry you missed us. We do usually meet every Sunday and it is rarely cancelled. If it is cancelled then it would be cancelled well in advance. We usually just make up our mind at the last minute though on where exactly we are meeting. Normally I usually know by Saturday, but this week we didn't decide until today. Maybe next Sunday. :thumbsup It was really cold out tonight anyways. :eek2

How'd you manage to get a PS3? Any over-heating issues? I heard that was a problem. I think I'll wait until the price comes down a little and Gran Turismo HD is out. I played one at Best Buy and the graphics are pretty amazing. :bows

I got lucky actually, I went looking for a wii and as it turned out they had one PS3 left so I grabbed it with the intentions of Ebaying it. But it got the better of me and I opened it. My neighbor came over and we played it all day pretty much in fact I had to reconnect the controller to charge it. They are blue tooth which is cool. No overheating so far and I have an HD cable on order from bestbuy, should be here by the end of the week.
