anyone familiar with it? is there another place out there? cheaper? 75 for two pulls doesnt sound bad but idk..
also, I called up the guys from prestige about making a turbo and they said they dont do that stuff, any idea who could fab one and do it right in san antonio? I've been talking to the fireballed team about it but so far it seems they are going to take forever in just getting the idea started :(

Fuel Injection Specialties is my number one recommendation for dyno (Mustang dyno/load bearing, wide band post cat A/F logging); Tracy knows her stuff. The shop does turbo fabrication on domestic vehicles, but their rates are a bit high.
I’ve also done some pulls on a Dynojet/inertia (tail pipe sniffing A/F log) located North of 1604 on Nacogdoches but can’t remember the name;the phone number is no longer in service. The operator I had was doing a turbo fab on a Neon while I was there.
There is a Beissbarth at Rhine West on Broadway.
A little background for the types of dynos, their limitations, and intended use. http://www.germanmotorcars.com/Dyno_load%20vs%20inertia_1.htm

Sorry, that’s not the place, but the phone number for the shop I went to is no longer in service either. The Team Extreme shop is located across from Lady Bird Park and they have a DynoJet also.

You could get a Cooper S motor for 5g or slightly under not including labor to install it and other parts that might have to be swapped for beefier ones.

haha, well I could but that would only accomplish making 160 hp for 5.. when I could turbo and make alot more for 5g with just running 5-8 psi.. I will swap the pistons and pray the transmission lives on. I already have the S head, so really the only thing left is the crank and tranny. and with the boost I will be running I doubt it will be a problem. I've been running 9psi in the crx without a built motor for two months now decently hard and no blue smoke or issues.. so im guessing all will be ok so long as im not on the throttle 24/7

I seem to remember Pro Mini had a turbo car at All Mini Track Day a while back. You might check with them for a turbo kit for a Cooper.
