On my last tank of gas the OBC said I averaged 29mpg. :) I just crossed 3000 miles recently and before this I never had anything over 27mpg. I was really impressed. On a lot of the forums people have been complaining about how the MCSa eats up gas, but 29mpg isn't bad at all. If it was all highway driving that could easily be over 30 now.

Mine changes all the time, (unstable driving habits), but funny enough I saw 99 mpg on the OBC, on the way back from NM.... I average 27-28, lowest 24.

Yeah, the other day after I filled up I saw 65 mpg for a while. I know on the OBC there is a screen that will show the current mpg and if you are off the throttle it will show 99mpg. Maybe the OBC gets confused occasionaly and thinks it's a hybrid. :p I'm back to 25.5 now with mostly around town driving. It's interesting that there isn't too much of a difference between the auto and manual in terms of fuel mileage. I usually average 26-28 too.

I wish I could get that type of mileage. I still haven't made it to 25 mpg in 6500 miles of motorin'. That's including a trip to the West Coast, although I did arrive in El Paso 2 hours quicker than than what Google maps said I should :D .

I filled up this morning and got 33mpg on my way to work. It dropped to 31 on the way home. :thumbsup

This $2.50 a gallon is too high. I work in the oil industry and I know the oil companies are doing extremely well right now. They could easily take some cuts and still be making plenty of profit, but there is nobody in the government that will push them to do that right now or that will try to somehow keep these prices from continuosly increasing like they are.
