Hello, I know there are more then a few of you who know who I am. I am Faron Smith who has been a Motoring Advisor with MINI of San Antonio for just over 4 and a half years. I have sold a bunch of you a MINI(Some of you more then one!), and helped just as many get their MINI Serviced. My desk was the very first Sales Desk that you see when you walk in the front door. Did you catch that?
I want everyone that knows me, to know that I have decided to part ways from MINI of San Antonio. In fact Saturday September 22, 2007 was for the most part my last day. My family and I are moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Both my wife and I grew up in Albuquerque, and we felt it was time to return to the Land of Enchantment.. Fortunately, I found that Sandia MINI had a opening, and I jumped at the chance to work with them. Sandia MINI is a EXCELLENT origination, and I am lucky to have landed a job with them. I will be starting work at Sandia MINI on October 1, 2007. So I will not be leaving the brand, just the San Antonio dealership. Sandia MINI is a beautiful dealership, and is owned by a guy that is a car enthusiast. In fact he has a MINI Demo for himself, can you imagine that? Sandia MINI shares a campus with BMW Motorcycles, as well as BMW. All three have their own Service department, as well as dedicated parts department. I am looking forward to working with the everyone at Sandi MINI.
I have made many friends selling MINIs in San Antonio, I will miss a bunch of you. Its funny, who would of thought a salesman could make friends selling cars. It has everything to do with the brand, MINI is more then just another car.
