My '02 front end of the hood has so many little dabs of paint over chipped paint that it looks like it has freckles. I guess that I need to respray the front part or the whole hood repainted. If anyone knows of a paint that chips less I'll use that. -Jeffy.
You could respray it...but it will most likely chip again. If you are concerned about chips you should look into the clear bra. It's expensive to install, but probably cheaper than repainting ($450-600 if I recall).

My 02 has a bunch of chips too. If I ever get it repainted I'll get a clear bra. When I got my new A4 last year I had a clear bra put on and it works. There's a detailing place at the Fair Oaks Ranch exit off I-10 that does it. Talk to Derrick, 210-336-5194. His girlfriend actually does it and they came to my house and did a great job.
