Lone Star Mini Club Members, I think that is time to meet to talk about our cars, events, the club, etc. I would like to hear suggestions of places, dates and times, as well as, if you think is a good idea or not.

I'm game. The monthly Coffee and Rides at Panera Bread, 1604 and Blanco might be a time to consider. There are lots of other cars there and we could show a little mini presence. It happens on the last Saturday of the month from 0830 to 1130am.

The SA dealer has a new sales manager for mini. He's going to sponsor a monthly event. He might also hold an event at the Coffee and Rides.

I just realized that the last saturday of May is the 29th which is the day of the HPDE at Harris Hills which I'm signed up to run. Since Kim and Ivan and Terry might be there already maybe we could at least meet there and then meet at the Coffee and Rides next month. Or we could try to meet more often, say, the 2nd and last Saturday's someplace west of town and try to do a run once in awhile.

Actually, there is a Starbucks out I-10 toward Keith's place that would be a good place. There are several directions we could go from there.

Start thinking about June 5th. The Austin club is planning a drive and meeting at http://www.alamospringscafe.com/ I've asked permission to join them. This is near the Old Tunnel Bat Cave, a drive some of us have been on before.

theres also project 512 in austin on the 26th that i will be going to. its a car show on the track at the driveway.
