where have you been driving? That is pretty dirty. Well, when I changed mine, it was way more cleaner than that and I still am keeping it. Hmmm, interesting. Would it be related to what you were talking about that service issue lately (not installing the airbox correctly)?

That could have contributed to more dirt getting in. There was a lot of oil caught in the air filter too. How many miles were on your filter when you removed it? Mine had a little under 5400.
